- A six stanza poem written via physical typewriter. It depicts the struggle of identity within a mexican american male who despite possessing european eyes and skin carries the weight of his mixed identity through features like his last name, and stature. Despite the differences in his cultual heritage, he accepts his mixed identity with pride. An image of an owl sitting atop a branch is ink printed at the bottom of the poem.
